Community Goals and Mission Statement
Goals –
Facilitate consistent sharing among members related
to issues in Baan IV.
- Develop a list of Baan IV experts that can
be called upon by the community to address specific
problems and issues
- Publish a list of
Mosaic Baan IV members identifying their versions,
areas of expertise, and bolt on packages used
- To promote and participate in monthly
teleconference calls of the community group
- To promote and participate in the annual
conference of Baan users

Develop and publicize a best practices forum in
order to establish knowledge transfer amongst
Mosaic members.
Mission –
As a Baan IV Product Community we strive for
excellence, knowledge sharing, and issue
identification and resolution about the Baan IV
product with other users.
- To become the direction leaders,
finding new ways of doing things to ensure the community
protects the investment and commitment made by our
community members
- To serve as an effective
liaison between Infor and the Baan IV user
community

Product Community Calls
The Baan IV group meets monthly via telephone conference calls. The calls are held on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 am EST; 8:00 am PST.
On the monthly calls members will have access to the community's Infor Product Manager and other companies that use Baan IV. The calls give members the chance to provide input into the future direction of the Baan IV product line and to get answers about any questions from other users.
During recent calls, the community has discussed:
- Applying upgrades to service packs, porting setting, databases
- Reviewing Infor's Roadmap for Baan IV
- Creating escrow accounts so Infor Partners can deposit source code for customizations for their clients
